TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGER

The job duties for this position include, but not limited to, the following:

  • This individual will be responsible for managing a team of approximately 20-30 FTEs across multiple contracts that provide software development, network information engineering, network (LAN) administration, cybersecurity support, system assessment and authorization (A&A), and technical helpdesk support.
  • Will act as overall manager for the contractor effort and serve as Rollout Systems’ authorized point of contact with Partners and Contracting Officer Representative (COR) as required.
  • Responsible for managing scope, budget, schedule, and performance of contracts to include personnel management and accountability of assigned personnel tasks and workforce authorizations.
  • Under the support of the Director of Talent Acquisition, will source, review and interview candidates for current and future opportunities. When faced with growth opportunities and turnover, expediently works to develop a candidate pipeline, qualify prospects and support the onboarding workflow.
  • Responsible for effective planning, coordinating, staffing, organizing, and decision making to attain desirable profit-making results for Rollout Systems, an organization that supports federal government contracts.
  • Responsible for delegation of tasking, staffing allocation, and requirements to the team for execution of work statement.
  • This person provides direction, prioritization, coordination, and conflict resolution while managing project teams that accomplish program and cooperate objectives.
  • The Program Manager has a demonstrated ability to lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team of technical and administrative support staff for Government customers in the information technology/ logistics and administrative domain.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills are required and the ability to work with all levels of contract and government management.
  • Produce monthly reports and contract deliverables as required.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Minimum Education

  • BS/BA degree in Business, Management Information Systems, or related discipline.
  • ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: BS/BA - Four (4) years of related experience or two (2) years of related experience with an AA/AS degree.

Preferred Minimum Experience

  • Four (4) years of experience as a journeyman or senior, in a client-server environment in a server systems administration and analysis environment.
  • Four (4) years of experience minimum in a program management capacity forming the above duties.
  • Experience must demonstrate your ability to recruit candidates and perform comprehensive technical interviews for new team members.
  • An IAT/IAM Level II or III baseline certification would be preferred, not required, for the screening of technical candidates.
  • A PMP certification would be preferred for program management responsibilities.
