A week in the life of a Program Manager (Journeyman): 

• Organizes, directs, and manages contract operation support functions, involving multiple, complex and inter-related project tasks.
• Manages teams of contract support personnel at multiple locations.
• Maintains and manages the client interface at the senior levels of the client organization.
• Meets with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items. Ensures conformance with program task schedules and costs.
• Works with senior leadership to develop business opportunities and assists with proposal efforts across various directorates. 

• Possess a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• 12-15 years of related experience.
• Possess and apply a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments. 
• Be able to plan and lead major technology assignments. 
• Be able to evaluate performance results and recommend major changes affecting short-term project growth and success. 
• Function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
• Be able to supervise others.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $120,000-160,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
