We are currently seeking an administrative assistant local to the Greater Boston Area for our Founder. Our founder is a serial entrepreneur, who runs several businesses. The administrative assistant will assist him on on all of these businesses, to help manage him, his schedule and his ideas.
If you do not work well under pressure, are not organized, and are not used to a fast paced environment, this is not for you. The founder is good about helping you prioritize, but there is a level of independence and follow through you must have.
Please note, that the list of tasks below aren't daily tasks, but we wanted you to see the variety of work in this position. Week by week, priorities will change, and the founder will guide you to that.
This position will be fun, with lots of learning, and growth opportunities. If you are adventurous, entrepreneurial, and love variety, please apply. You must be available in the morning from about 7am-12noon.
Education business tasks may include (but are not limited to):
- Answer emails throughout the day and help students with registration.
- Answer google voice
- Help maintain the website
- Draft blog posts
- Manage company profiles across platforms
- Coordinate with team members
- Do regular outreach
- Help with receipts, quickbooks, and payroll
- Order supplies and fulfill orders
- Help with community events
Coaching business tasks:
- Create reels with Canva and help post
- Maintain website
- Schedule social media posts
- Draft blog posts
Art Business tasks:
- Maintain website
- Update social media
- Research and register for art shows, fairs, events
- If you like social media, art, photography, this will be fun!
Real estate business:
- Receipts
- Calling contractors
- Doing research
- End of year reporting
Experience:
- Proven experience as an assistant or similar role
- Strong customer service and clerical skills
- Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with phone systems and phone etiquette
- Excellent calendar management skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience with DocuSign or similar electronic signature software is a plus
