What you will do in this role :
- Works with vendors to create weekly food menu
- Preparation of and restocking of all salad bar items and other specialty items according to the menu and recipes throughout service
- Oversee food preparation, portion sizes, and the overall presentation of food
- Manage inventory and creates weekly food, paper goods and cleaning supply orders by vendor
- Oversee deliveries ensuring proper food and supply storage and labeling requirements are met
- Oversees the cleaning of the cafeteria by establishing a cleaning schedule and logging individual progress
- Cleans, refills and monitors all supplies and vending machines contacting all vendors when service is required
- Collaborates and supervises staff to determine, schedule and oversee the weekly food service
- Sets up, takes down and cleans all food service equipment, dishes, utensils etc. of both cafeterias and food prep area
- Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas
- Ensure employees comply with health and food safety standards and regulations
- Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality or service
- Maintain budgets and payroll records and review financial transactions
- Establish and manage standards for quality, safety, personnel performance and customer service

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft excel, word, and outlook
- Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal abilities and enjoy working with people
- Able to multitask and work well under pressure to meet deadlines
- A current and valid food handlers permit
- Ability to lift up to 100 lb. with lifting equipment assistance
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 20lbs consistently, with limited breaks, for a full 8 hour shift
