Job Description
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Specialist to join our team. Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for identifying and pursuing means in which to foster program promotion and relationship building and the exchange of information, managing and integrating partnering activities, involving both internal and external audiences.
  • Responsible for supporting publications, news releases, interviews, and other promotional materials that increase awareness and elevate the people, science and technologies, and business activities of the USAMRDC.
  • Pursue strategic opportunities for a particular business or organization by cultivating partnerships or other commercial relationships or identifying new markets for its products or services.
  • Promote USAMRDC activities to external audiences. Meet and communicate with internal and external parties in accordance with Government furnished guidance to support USAMRDC mission areas; updating “How to Do Business with Us” documentation housed on the USAMRDC website.
  • Communicate the process of doing business with USAMRDC and promote USAMRDC business development programs, at conferences and seminars, such as Strengthening the Mid-Atlantic Region for Tomorrow Procurement Conference (SMARTPROC) and Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium (MTEC) meetings to further educate our collaborators and Industry Partners regarding ways to do business with USAMRDC.
  • Gather, organize, track and transmit information concerning USAMRDC business activities to multiple internal and external audiences.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3 - 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
