Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys in all aspects of the litigation process. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for the legal field.

Responsibilities:

- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs

- Conduct legal research using various resources, including Westlaw

- Organize and maintain case files and documents using document management systems

- Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and meetings

- Interview clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information relevant to the case

- Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and drafting trial binders

- Draft correspondence and communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel

- Perform administrative tasks such as filing documents with the court and maintaining calendars

- Provide general administrative support to attorneys as needed

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of legal administrative procedures and practices

- Proficiency in using document management systems for organizing and maintaining case files

- Excellent interviewing skills to gather relevant information from clients, witnesses, and experts

- Familiarity with Westlaw or other legal research platforms to conduct thorough legal research

- Strong administrative skills, including phone etiquette and calendar management

- Knowledge of paralegal duties and responsibilities within the litigation process

- Ability to draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs with attention to detail

- Understanding of basic legal principles and concepts related to litigation

- Strong project management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $56,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
