Detailed Job Description

• Work collaboratively with Saunders College faculty, staff and students to develop thorough understanding of SCB programs.
• Work collaboratively with Saunders College faculty, staff and students to identify opportunities between Saunders College and external business organizations - that could include internships, research projects, capstone projects, business competitions, and other student/faculty engagements (e.g., speakers, mentoring, company visits).
• Serve as point person for inquiries from potential corporate partners and present potential engagement opportunities to college faculty, staff, students and alumni.
• Assist with coordination of sponsorships for college events and activities, including potential industry events Saunders may host.
• Help develop portfolio of partnership opportunities between business organization partners and Saunders community. Build and maintain pipeline of business organization contacts.
• Support RIT Career Services efforts on student placement and actively participate in recruitment activities and events.
• Work collaboratively with Career Services on sustaining and growing employer connections and partnerships associated with Saunders College, as well as support of employer contact information, employer surveys, advisory board membership and other employer-related engagement activities and data.
• Work collaboratively with student clubs and departments to develop activities and events in support of business development (e.g., seminar series, business competitions). Manage budget for student club initiatives.
• Maintain strong understanding of current business trends and match against Saunders programs and offerings.
• Analyze and use data (internal and external) to identify opportunities and support college initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
Education/Experience:

• Bachelors degree required. MS or MBA preferred.
• 5 years.

Skills:

• Must have strong understanding across various fields of business as well as current industry trends.
• Must be organized with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-starter who is highly motivated and has the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to interface with professionals across various levels of academia and business.
• Strong MS Office skills.
• Strong data skills (i.e., Excel, database). Analytics experience would be a plus.
