Well established, publicly traded company with Headquarters in Oklahoma City seeks a Vice President of Accounting to oversee and manage the accounting and reporting practices. Reporting to shareholders and the board of directors, this role is pivotal in maintaining fiscal records, ensuring timely financial reporting, and implementing robust internal controls. The VP will develop financial strategies aligned with organizational objectives and collaborate with stakeholders to forecast projections accurately. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting with at least 15 years of progressive financial or accounting experience, including 5 years at the senior executive level. Proficiency in GAAP, SEC reporting, and knowledge of SOX and SOC auditing requirements are essential. CPA certification is required, an MBA or advanced degree in finance/accounting, and experience in public accounting and international accounting processes are preferred.
