My client is a highly prestigious NFP. The Executive Director and Board of Directors are looking for a Director of Finance to lead the finance and accounting team.This is a great opportunity for a Controller who would like to move into a DOF role.Excellent quality of life, 8 - 4pm or 9 - 5pmThey are in the office full time, 5 days a week.As always, these are permanent, full time, fully benefited salaried positions (these are NOT temp, or temp to perm).Compensation is based on experience:Between $140 - $170k baseThe role will cover:Managing a staff of 3x with in Finance and AccountingPresenting to the Board, financial reports, ad hoc reportsSupporting the accounting team on financial statement preparationWorking with the external auditorsCreating budgets, forecasts, modifications, and variance analysisWorking internally with key stakeholders on their departments budgetsExplaining to non-finance personnel about their budgets, spend, etc.Who are you?:The ideal candidate will have an accounting foundation, ideally public accounting B4/large regional, whom then moved into the private sector.CPA is a huge plusBS or BA in Accounting or Finance is required, MBA is highly desirableExperience within the NFP sector is requiredExperience with Sage Intaact is a Experience with federal, state grants is a Minimum of 10 years’ experienceExceptional communications skills are required. A great dynamic personality and the ability to work along your fellow colleagues is crucial.
