My client is a Fortune 300 Holding/Investment Company, who's portfolio consists of companies in the retail/CPG/real estate and manufacturing space.They are looking for an exception Senior Tax Manager, who will report into the Sn. Director of Tax.GREAT QUALITY OF LIFE for those of you coming out of public accounting, 9 - 5They are located in the heart of NYC, and are 2 days in and 3 days remote.Compensation is based on experience:The Sn. Tax Manager is between $140 - $180k base 15% discretionary bonusThe role will cover: ○ Prepare working papers for federal and state income tax ○ Prepare annual and quarterly income tax provisions ○ Manage the tax audits. ○ Manage the outside accounting firm relationship ○ Handling other various tax filings (sales and use, property tax etc.), payments and reporting calendar. ○ Manage a team of 1-2 staff Who are you? ○ MUST have tax provision (ASC 740) experience ○ Highly prefer someone who started in B4 or a top regional and then moved into industry ○ Open to a straight B4/top regional tax accountant ○ CPA or parts passed is required ○ Experience with OneSource is preferred ○ 5 years of experience ○ Bachelor’s degree in AccountingExceptional communications skills are required. A great dynamic personality and the ability to work along your fellow colleagues is crucial. He or she must be able to effectively collaborate with individuals both inside and outside the company.
