Responsibilities:- Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including researching discrepancies, preparing reports, and conducting financial analysis to support decision-making.- Lead month-end close activities, including the preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and bank reconciliations, ensuring deadlines are met with accuracy.- Analyze accounting data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete ad hoc projects and reports, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.- Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, ensuring timely processing and accurate recording of transactions.- Maintain the integrity of the general ledger through meticulous record-keeping and reconciliation processes.- Proactively identify and resolve errors or discrepancies in financial entries and reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit documentation, supporting external audits and regulatory compliance efforts.
