This is a job where someone with a complex understanding of Financial Statements, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets can thrive.Your responsibilities- Ad-hoc reporting and special projects, as requested- Periodically maintain and reconcile journal entries- Compose journal entries and conduct the month end close with minimal supervision- Assemble journal entries and thorough account reconciliations that include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll- Manage schedules for monthly payments and capital lease- Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls while ensuring that accounting procedures comply with GAAP- In-depth experience with reconciling month end balance sheet accounts- Maintain intercompany transactions, billings, and reconciliation- Play a part in a variety of department-wide initiatives- Assist in the month end, quarter end and year end closing process including monthly financial close workbook preparation- Oversee depreciation, fixed asset ledgers, and reconciliation- Coordinate and analyze a variety of financial data, then report it in a way that is useful and understandable- Prepare analyses for monthly balance sheets and income statements for management to report on
