You might thrive in this role.Major responsibilities- Periodic maintenance and reconciliation of journal entries- Support the month end, quarter end and year end closing process by preparing monthly financial close workbooks- Partake in a variety of department-wide initiatives- Perform month end close, journal entries, with minimum supervision- Assist in implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP- Compose analyses for income statements and monthly balance sheets for management reporting- Arrange schedules for capital lease and monthly payments- Survey and organize various financial data, reporting it in a useful and understandable manner- Become well-versed in month end balance sheet account reconciliations- Produce complex journal entries and account reconciliations which include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll- Manage depreciation, fixed asset ledgers, and reconciliation- Maintain intercompany transactions, billings, and reconciliation- Upon request, take part in special projects and impromptu reporting
