Located in Huntington Station, New York, this Senior Accountant role is with a company in the Real Estate - Other field.How you will make an impact- Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary- Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations- Apply oneself to various department-wide initiatives- Provide monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting- Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed when working with business partners and be able to provide support on special requests- Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors- Produce error-free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP- Continuously analyze current automation of the accounting and reporting process and present improvement suggestions- Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
