A leading global media and podcast company is seeking a PR Manager to assist in shaping and executing strategic public relations and consumer content campaigns. Your responsibilities will span across collaborating with internal teams, managing external vendors, and ensuring consistent messaging on a global scale. With a focus on podcasts and media content, you'll contribute to the success and growth of this global brand in the ever-evolving media landscape.Role: Public Relations ManagerDuration: 7 monthsLocation: Hudson Yards (NYC) *hybrid-onsite 3 days/weekPay Rate: $45-53/hourResponsibilities:Develop and manage strategic public relations and consumer content campaigns for podcasts.Collaborate daily with internal stakeholder teams (marketing, programming, content, legal) to ensure successful campaigns and content launches.Support multiple global publicity campaigns, working closely with local international territory PR leads for messaging consistency.Develop messaging and media awareness for key internal spokespeople and external talent for announcements, industry panels, and interviews.Manage and oversee external vendors/public relations agencies on strategy, execution, and day-to-day matters.Liaise with external talent/hosts and their representation.Act as the internal PR point of contact for all PR and communications matters for both podcast businesses.Oversee PR for the launch of (5) tentpole consumer brand campaigns supporting always-on podcast shows.Support the expansion of Kids brand, including content, brand awareness, and consumer product launch of a brand new toy line.Provide maintenance and weekly episodic support for always-on podcast series, including top-tier talent-led shows.Plan and execute PR launch campaigns for new podcast releases between April through October.
