This is a short-term contract employment opportunity in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will be handling payroll processing, workers compensation, and wage garnishments.Responsibilities:• Manage the entire payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.• Process workers' compensation claims and ensure compliance with legal requirements.• Handle wage garnishments, ensuring they are correctly applied to employee's wages.• Utilize Kronos Timekeeping System for tracking employee working hours.• Administer 401k - RRSP Administration tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance.• Leverage UKG Pro software for payroll processing and reporting.• Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.• Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records.• Work closely with the HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless payroll processing.• Stay updated with the latest payroll trends, statutory taxation, and legislation changes.
