We are seeking a payroll specialist for a role located in the New Brunswick, NJ area. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be skilled in using payroll software, calculating and processing adjustments, ensuring compliance with payroll tax regulations, and responding to payroll-related inquiries from employees. Responsibilities:• Process payroll for employees using payroll software• Calculate and process adjustments such as retroactive pay, bonuses, and commissions• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues• Assist with payroll audits and other ad hoc projects as needed• Utilize software like PeopleSoft or Oracle HCM Cloud for payroll processing• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel• Apply excellent verbal and written communication skills in daily tasks.
