We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Scheduler to join a dynamic medical practices team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient operation of this facility by managing patient scheduling, reception duties, insurance verification, and data entry tasks. This position is located in the Murrells Inlet, SC area and is a contract-to-hire opportunity. Responsibilities:Schedule patient appointments efficiently, considering patient needs and availability of healthcare providers.Greet patients warmly and provide excellent customer service at the reception desk.Verify patient insurance coverage and collect necessary information for billing purposes.Maintain accurate patient records through meticulous data entry and documentation.Handle a high volume of incoming calls and assist patients with inquiries or appointment scheduling.Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care delivery.Qualifications:Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.Proficiency in computer skills, including data entry and scheduling software.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in medical office administration is a plus.Experience with EPIC.
