This Medical Claims Representative role is an exciting opportunity with a prestige healthcare partner. In these roles, you will be performing clerical tasks to support the medical collections department and maintain a smoother billing process. This Medical Claims Representative role is onsite opportunity in Phoenix, AZ.
Responsibilities include:
Retrieving, reviewing, and printing patient documents.
Reviewing medical claims for accuracy including review of CPT & ICD-10 codes.
Preparing and sending out documentation to payers and patients regarding due payments.
Supporting billers and collectors in the management of necessary documents.
Qualifications that we're looking for:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 1 year of prior healthcare collections, billing or claims experience required
At least 6 months of medical terminology knowledge
Healthcare practice management software experience preferred
Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills
Experience using Microsoft Office
strong knowledge of explanation of benefits (EOBs) to include claims denial
