Job Description · Serve as main point of contact for clients in all matters relating to litigation · Manage all incoming and outgoing client correspondence · Track, review and analyze client medical information · Assist with drafting factual complaints, cite-check and proofread legal documents to ensure proper formatting and compliance with local, state and federal court rules · Prepare summons and complaints, answers to interrogatories, fact-sheets, exhibit lists, subpoenas and supporting materials for filing with the court. · Docket management and case calendars · Maintain and summarize case management orders and pretrial orders · Perform legal research using various research tools, including the Internet, Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER and various public-access websites · Trial support and attendance Required skills: · Minimum 3-5 years of experience with all phases of the litigation process in the areas of complex, coordinated litigation involving mass tort, medical malpractice, environmental or personal injury · Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and timelines · Proficiency using MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, Westlaw, LexisNexis and PACER · Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills · Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certification preferred Flexibility to work overtime as needed
