Robert Half is Hiring an IT Systems Administrator Near Seattle, WA

Robert Half is looking to for an Systems Administrator for a utility’s client located local to the Pacific Northwest Region. This position is a short-term contract, hybrid in Seattle, Washington!

Location: Seattle, Washington

Schedule: Monday-Friday (hybrid work model – 2 days remote)

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as first point of contact for service, troubleshooting and resolution for all technical support issues relating to Windows Operating Systems (OS), network connectivity, remote access, hardware, peripheral devices, and mobile devices.
  • Troubleshoots and remediates hardware problems on laptops, network workstations, printers, and other peripheral equipment.
  • Installs and configures operating systems, application software, and updates on workstations and servers.
  • Responsible for configuration and management of all devices connected to the network including printers, copiers, and scanners.
  • Administers Windows Exchange Server, mail clients, calendars, and archives.
  • Administers and maintains end-user accounts, permissions, and access rights within Active Directory.
  • Configures, prepares, and deploys new desktop workstations for end users and facilitates hardware relocation and network setup.
  • Administers on-site and cloud-based network and communication infrastructure, services, and applications.
  • Supports the tracking of IT capital assets, software licenses, and the disposal of hardware.
  • Supports the Network Support Technician with infrastructure, network, security, and web services.
  • Develops and deepens an understanding of the principles of equity and environmental justice and applies the principles in the individual work.
  • Participates in committees and groups that further efforts of equity and environmental justice in the region supported by the Agency.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
