This role involves various HR duties, including recruiting, owning new hire orientation, managing the employee handbook, and handling employee relations.Your responsibilities- Collaborate with other HR team members to oversee the hiring and onboarding process for new company employees- Design & /or support a recruitment plan according to operational and business projections- Develop official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary adjustments, updates to the employee handbook, leave of absences, and warning/termination letters- Accountable for completing various tasks and the daily operations of the HR department- Develop onboarding plans and train newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations- Engage with other teams, including with upper management, employees, and third-party vendors- Conduct employee performance reviews, including assisting with annual reviews, appraising pay scales, and coordinating disciplinary action (including terminations if necessary)- Maintain physical and digital files for employees and their documents, including benefits, attendance records, and annual reviews- Employee relations, involving engaging employees and coordinating sensitive conversations- Draft templates for various HR documents, including the Employee Handbook- Differentiate local, state, and federal laws to current internal policies and procedures- Create employee engagement plans, including budget approvals and management oversite
