Job Title: Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (Consultant) Company: Local Nonprofit Organization Location: Fully Remote Duration: contract (2 months) Robert Half is recruiting for a contract role as a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis for a local Nonprofit Organization. This individual will primarily oversee the transition of the outgoing director and train the new permanent for 2 months. This position will report directly to the CFO and can work remotely as needed. Responsibilities: - Comprehensive understanding of the role and responsibilities of a Director of FP& A. - Get acquainted with the structure of the organization, specifically focusing on budget development and management. - Develop and manage budgets taking into account both private and public sources of funding as well as operating and non-operating expenditures. - Work across multiple departments and initiatives. - Responsible for reporting to the organization's Board and preparing internal reports (org-wide and program-specific Budget v Actual) as well as external reports for private grants. Requirements: - A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. - At least 4 years of progressive experience in FP& A in a corporate environment with at least $100M annual revenue. Equivalent consulting experience will also be considered. - Profound knowledge of ERP systems, FP& A best practices, and Excel. - Ability to work as a self-starter with attention to detail. - Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to work collaboratively with finance and non-finance colleagues. - Willingness to work remotely, if needed. - Proven expertise in process design and implementation will be a bonus.
