The Financial Reporting Accountant will provide support to the Finance operations team, a $5B corporation. The position will report into the Director of FP& A and will be based at the Headquarters in MA.These are the responsibilities this role will cover prior to full transition to Financial Reporting Accountant:The first 7 would give the candidate a good sense of their business units, people they interact with, etc. while the last 4 are the more administrative aspects of the role. Sales and Bookings report – weeklyIssuing intercompany invoices – monthlyPosting Cash Receipts – dailyInputting WiresTax payments – from GBR Tax Departments: Federal, and state taxes for various statesTop 15 Customer tab checks for Month endsJV Month end reports Ordering supplies for the office.Processing some expense reportsAnswering the phone (we get a lot of phone calls lately) - dailyProcessing incoming and outgoing mail (daily)The Financial Reporting Accountant will be expected to:Work with the finance team with HFM Database maintenance and financial reportso Input FX rate received from Corporate and load it into HFMo Review, update and HFM reports to meet the requirementso Review, update month end flash on timely basis for review by Director – Financial Planning and Analysis.o Review Balance Sheet and Income Statement for each siteo Convert/ load monthly data to HFM DAT format.o Compare the monthly figures in HFM reports to Hyperion report to make sure YTD agrees.o Review Hyperion IC reports (IC Sales, IC Loans, long term debt, short term debt and investments) and check balances.o Assist with Budget Flash and budget files review.o Maintain the data base: Work with Hyperion consultant to add new entities, new account, and new currencies.Work with the finance team in month end reporting and any projects that come up.Work with Hyperion consultant to create/update Macros.
