Our reputable client is seeking an interim senior level accountant to join the company. As a member of the team, the consultant will participate in the daily accounting and monthly accounting process. This consultant will be responsible for month end close and the annual audit. Key responsibilities- Supervise the annual/quarterly/monthly budgeting and forecasting processes- Develop operating and financial metrics, analyze results and trends to create impactful insights, report results to executive leadership and key stakeholders, and improve forecasting and modeling accuracy- Create detailed business unit projections, highlight risks/opportunities, and oversee the preparation of relevant materials- Develop operational and long-term budgets and forecasts for the organization with the executive team and then monitor and report on performance against those budgets- Manage adherence to the company's accounting policies and procedures- Regularly report on key financial metrics for internal and board stakeholders- Develop and maintain effective professional relationships with the company's bankers, auditors, government agencies, and other professional organizations
