The Controller will be a permanent employment opportunity and will be located in the Dallas, Texas region.How you will make an impact- Produce cash-flow reports, calculating cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, and manage daily cash- Guide all operations of the finance department, including accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll- Meet client expectations by reviewing deliverables of self and team to make sure they meet client satisfaction- Occasionally perform duties beyond formal job responsibilities- Research, plan and implement Finance Department initiatives including software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, as needed- Manage the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques to make sure cash collection is on time- Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts and monitor on a monthly basis- Give executive committee and partners monthly financial reports- Responsible for month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations & G/L analysis- Evaluate, implement and streamline policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies- Work closely with executive team and partners to ensure efficient and successful firm-wide operation
