Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to decode requirements and translate them into actionable data engineering tasks.
- Gather and integrate data from Azure and on-premises sources to build comprehensive data models.
- Develop data pipelines and procedures to ensure efficient data processing and integration.
- Create physical data models and optimize database structures for performance and scalability.
- Utilize visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and SSRS to create insightful dashboards and reports.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to supply chain and logistics operations.
- Present findings and recommendations to executives and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Take a hands-on approach to data engineering tasks, including modeling, visualization, and pipeline development.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on modeling and visualization.
- Proficiency in Azure data warehouse and experience with on-premises data integration.
- Industry experience with transportation logistics or supply chain
- Expertise in visualization tools such as Tableau (preferred), Power BI, or SSRS.
- Proven track record of working on projects with senior leadership visibility and accountability for performance KPIs.
- Hands-on experience in creating data pipelines, integrating databases, and developing physical data models.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
