We are actively recruiting for a Data Engineer with a solid background in Azure and data warehousing. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to take on a crucial role in the development, maintenance, testing, and support of our enterprise data warehouse solution. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand our client's data requirements and design efficient data warehouse solutions • Develop, maintain, and optimize data warehouse architecture to ensure scalability, performance, and data integrity • Monitor and tune the data warehouse performance for optimal query execution and data retrieval times • Manage database availability and performance, including incident and problem management • Conduct regular tests and evaluations to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity • Prepare documentation relating to the developed data solution to ensure excellent understanding among teams • Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users • Be available for on-call and after-hours support when required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science or equivalent work experience • Minimum 5 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server Manager, Azure SQL Database management, SQL databases and queries • At least 2 years of experience in various data warehousing technologies, including ETL tools, SQL databases, and data modeling techniques • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience managing Oracle database environment is a plus • Must have experience with Microsoft - Azure services including Data Factory • Proven ability to design and develop ETL processes • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and insights from large datasets Skills: • Strong collaboration skills, excellent at working within a cross-functional team • The ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines • A customer-focused mindset, with strong relationship skills
