Job Description:
We are currently in search of an experienced Senior Data Engineer with a strong background in Artificial Intelligence to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep knowledge of data infrastructure and database systems, and a proven track record of using artificial intelligence to enhance data processing, analysis, and storage.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain reliable data pipelines and architectures.
- Integrate data from various sources, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and accessibility.
- Implement AI and machine learning algorithms into data pipelines to automate data processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and execute on objectives.
- Collaborate with data scientists to design and develop processes for data modeling, mining and production.
- Use AI to optimize data systems and transform large sets of structured and unstructured data.
- Perform regular tests to ensure data accuracy and system efficiency, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
- Maintain documentation for database design, data flow, and processing.
- Evaluate and suggest new tools and technologies to meet the needs of the team and overall business goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or related field.
- 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and automation strategies.
- Deep knowledge of SQL, as well as experience with big data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, and others.
- Proficiency with data pipeline and workflow management tools.
- Familiarity with AWS/Cloud services and understanding of distributed data modeling.
- Experience with programming languages like Python, Java.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated capacity to clearly explain complex technical issues to non-technical individuals.
