A healthcare company in Monterey Park is looking to add a Customer Service Representative to their growing team. The Member Advocate primarily involves serving as the primary point of contact for member queries and concerns related to benefits, eligibility, referrals, claims, and other aspects of plan benefits and services. A successful Member Advocates provides exceptional customer service and exhibit professionalism at all times. They are responsible for understanding the member’s needs and decide the most appropriate and effective course of action based on their strong operational understanding. This role is Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:30pm and will go fully REMOTE after 3 weeks of training in their Monterey Park or Arcadia location.Functions & Job Responsibilities:• Act as the primary liaison for members, potential members, healthcare providers, brokers, and vendors.• Be responsive to member inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, referrals, claims, and other services. • Participate in departmental staff meetings and training sessions.• Adhere to all Federal and State regulatory requirements and guidelines relevant to Health Plan operations, as documented in company policies and procedures.• Comply with all HIPAA requirements.
