Our client is actively searching for an experienced, resourceful, and collaborative Corporate Controller for a key position responsible for all aspects of their global accounting operations. This includes areas such as general ledger, tax, treasury, accounts payable, payroll, revenue recognition and the external audit process. The Controller will serve as a vital part of their financial team, reporting directly to the CFO. This is an appealing opportunity for an ambitious and self-driven leader to significantly impact the success of a dynamic, growing business across multiple products and services. This position will initially be remote, with eventual presence in their Greater Boston office (local candidates only please).
Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Maintain the integrity of financial statements, ensuring they are GAAP compliant and are produced accurately and on time
- Oversee the amalgamation of financial results and preparation of consolidated financial statements
- Implement policies, processes, and procedures for a back-office organization ready for an IPO
- Drive efficiency through automation and streamlining of accounting processes
- Ensure development and maintenance of robust, scalable global accounting capabilities
- Manage global accounting and tax operations, complying with all statutory requirements for subsidiaries
- Oversee accounting, tax and regulatory compliance and filings for domestic and international operations
- Manage external audits
- Oversee a team of 4-5
- Provide accounting guidance related to proposed transactions
