Robert Half has an opportunity for you to become a critical part of an innovative company, as a full-time Corporate Accountant. Candidates should be driven by challenges and operate well within high stress environments. The Corporate Accountant will prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation. Other responsibilities include internal reporting during the monthly close, participation in compliance, interaction with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits and reviewing schedules reporting processes. This hybrid opportunity offers great growth and development. Contact Nathan Tillema at Robert Half via 719-249-5174.Responsibilities- Maintain and operate within journal entries and account reconciliations which include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, fixed assets.- Assist in the month end, quarter end and year end closing process including monthly financial close workbook preparation- Produce journal entries and perform the month end close under minimal supervision- Coordinate and analyze a variety of financial data, then report it in a way that is useful and understandable- Become well-versed in month end balance sheet account reconciliations- Ad hoc reporting and performing special projects upon request- Manage schedules for monthly payments and capital lease- Manage depreciation, fixed asset ledgers, and reconciliation- Manage intercompany reconciliation, billings, and transactions- Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses for management reporting
