This permanent position is for a Controller who will work in the Old Bethpage, New York region.What you get to do every single day- Work closely with executive team and partners to ensure that firm-wide operation is efficient and effective- Support Finance Department initiatives, including software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, through research, planning and implementation, as needed- Prepare cash-flow reports, projecting cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, daily cash management- Oversee the activities of the finance department, such as accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll- Complete tasks beyond formal job responsibilities- Manage monthly and annual close of income statement and balance sheet, the reconciliations of accounts, and G/L analysis- Manage the creation of and monthly monitoring of the annual budget and forecasts- Analyze, apply and improve policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies- Inspect deliverables of self and team to ensure that they meet client expectations- Each month, present executive committee and partners with financial reports- Drive the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques to ensure the timely cash collection
