Robert Half is seeking a persistent, detail-oriented Collections Specialist to join our team. For this position, a background in accounting, finance or business administration is preferred. Responsibilities - Act as liaison in maintaining quality customer service and a positive company image by resolving customer account inquiries- Log all customer payments to the correct reports- Abide by all rules and regulations established by the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act- Process bankruptcy filings in the correct manner when received- Locate delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. skip-tracing, written correspondence, phone contact, and making arrangements for payment- Update customer files to ensure data integrity- Control inbound and outbound collections calls and correspondence- Guarantee payments are processed- Direct all billing and reporting activities in accordance to deadlines
