A service company headquartered just North of downtown Indianapolis has an immediate opportunity for an experience Business to Business Collections Specialist. You will be responsible for contacting customers by phone, email, and written correspondence to discuss payment options and negotiate settlements. This role requires a balance between persistence in collecting outstanding debts and providing excellent customer service to maintain positive client relationships. This role will start contract with the intention being to transition to a permanent role after approximately 90 days. You will train in fully in office then have flexibility to work remote on Mondays and Fridays. Responsibilities:Proactively identify and manage overdue commercial accountsCommunicate effectively with clients via phone, email, and written correspondence in a professional and courteous mannerNegotiate and secure payment arrangements for outstanding invoicesMaintain accurate and detailed records of all communication and collection activitiesProcess received payments and ensure accurate account updates
