Our client has an immediate interim opportunity as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a contract or contract-to-hire opportunity. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for the overall financial health and well-being of the organization. The CFO will oversee all finance, accounting, internal controls, forecasting, budgeting, treasury, tax, contract administration, Information Technology, legal administrative, building maintenance and facilities functions. Your responsibilities- Identify and manage business risks and insurance requirements- Direct accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls- Oversee strategic management of the Accounting and Finance functions- Manage or oversee the relationship with independent auditors- Supervise implementations and upgrades for financial systems- Recommend improvements to ensure the integrity of a company's financial information- Manage relationships with investors and investment institutions
