We are offering an exciting opportunity for a meticulous and organized Bookkeeper in Sayville, New York. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting operations of the company. This includes processing vendor invoices, preparing financial statements, and maintaining accurate financial records in compliance with accounting standards and legal requirements.Responsibilities:• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger entries.• Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.• Prepare and distribute client invoices, monitor accounts receivable, and follow up on overdue payments.• Work closely with the management team in handling sensitive information including account reconciliations.• Prepare monthly financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation in compliance with accounting standards and legal requirements.• Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals during audits and tax preparation processes.• Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and legal requirements relevant to the industry.• Utilize skills and tools such as Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, Bookkeeping, Data Entry, Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks.
