ResponsibilitiesAssists Controller with overall financial affairs of the organization.Assists in budget preparation, financial reporting, and variance analysis (budget vs. actual). Analyzes profitability and performance against budget.Assists in preparing monthly board reports, including a summary of business activity and financial position related to income, expenses, and past, present, and forecasted earnings.Adheres to internal control procedures.Assists in preparing of two (2) monthly close processes.Assists in collecting external and internal audit materials.Reviews payroll submission for accuracy as well as associated journal entries.Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and supporting documentation.Accounts for State, Federal, and Private Grant funds received to ensure prompt reimbursement and accurate financial reporting.Assists in completing annual Form 990.Partners with external service providers to complete cost report.Supports annual physical inventory process.
