Robert Half is Hiring a Network/Systems Administrator Near Warwick, RI

DescriptionRobert Half has an exciting opportunity for a Network Administrator at a growing firm. To succeed in this position, you should be an organized problem solver who has a can-do attitude and enjoys ensuring and sustaining a stable network infrastructure. To support the business, you will ensure security, integrity and high-availability of enterprise systems and related components in order to develop, administer and maintain the network infrastructure. You will work with software, hardware, network security programs, and data storage systems that change frequently. It will be crucial for you to stay current and fully informed through ongoing education. This Network Administrator position is a permanent role and is located in the Warwick, Rhode Island, region.
Responsibilities
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures to administer the operation of all local area networks / wide area network related services
  • Troubleshooting and fixing local area networks / wide area network problems, including performance, connectivity and related issues
  • Applying LAN/WAN security, antivirus and spam control measures
  • Coordinating and implementing network software and hardware upgrades
Requirements
  • Knowledgeable of network protocols, software and hardware involved in LAN/WAN operations
  • Experience in production environments and willingness to be on-call
  • Solid understanding of Cisco ASA
  • Microsoft Windows experience required
  • 5 years of relevant experience
  • Skilled in troubleshooting, analytics and diagnostics
