We are offering a role in the manufacturing industry, based in Sartell, Minnesota, for an Accounting Specialist. The workplace is dynamic, and we are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team. The successful candidate will have a range of responsibilities, including general accounting functions, managing internal and external data requests, and being the primary contact for suppliers.Responsibilities:• Perform general accounting functions such as journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and sales tax filings• Collaborate with internal and external partners on data requests and reporting• Act as the primary contact for suppliers regarding inquiries and issues• Complete the BAAN journal entry import process in liaison with the project management team• Apply and reconcile funds received for project progress billings• Process invoices and credits in a timely manner, including electronic billings• Handle intercompany invoices/credits for warranty, cross charges, transfer price adjustments, royalties, and royalty tax withholdings• Perform customer service functions with suppliers on invoice questions and resolution for payment• Prepare supplier invoices for use tax for capital and software/hardware purchases and prepare report for use tax payment• Match inventory & supply receipts with supplier invoices and investigate differences for approval of buyers• Assist in various Accounting projects supporting the monthly and year-end close process and the annual audit
