We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Analyst in Woburn, Massachusetts. This role will entail managing accounts receivable functions, reconciling accounts, and preparing reports. The position requires a strong understanding of accounting software systems and a proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly pivot tables. It offers a short-term contract employment opportunity in the telecom industry.Responsibilities:• Oversee accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing• Utilize strong Excel skills, particularly pivot tables, to manage and analyze data• Perform regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted• Generate reports and run weekly AR meetings to discuss outstanding invoices, aged receivables, and collection efforts• Leverage accounting software systems and ERP solutions to streamline processes and improve efficiency• Utilize Great Plains (GPAC) and IBM AS/400 systems for specific accounting functions• Manage billing functions and process check payments to ensure all payments are received and applied correctly• Monitor cash activity and make necessary adjustments or corrections• Maintain a strong understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes and best practices to effectively manage the AR function.
