Our client is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to manage a project within their AP department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable processes and a proven track record of managing projects to successful completion. As the AP Supervisor/AP Vendor Master, you will be responsible for overseeing the project, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments, and maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures. This is a contract role expected to last 3-6 months in the Myrtle Beach, SC area. Responsibilities:Manage a specific project within the AP department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and paymentsSupervise a team of AP staff assigned to the project, providing guidance and support as neededReview and approve invoices, expense reports, and payment requests related to the projectWork closely with other departments to resolve any issues or discrepancies related to the projectDevelop and implement policies and procedures specific to the project to improve efficiency and accuracyEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsPrepare and analyze project-related AP reports for management reviewAssist with month-end close processes as needed
