JOB RESPONSIBILITIES· Works with all facets of the accounting system - principally the validation, processing, and filing of invoices.· Must make sure that all invoices are accurate and have been properly documented and approved by the authorizing employee prior to making a payment.· Required to prepare and mail checks, as well as verifying and procuring proper Internal Revenue Service documentation such as 1099 and W-9 forms from vendors.· Files and maintains files for all invoices, accounts payable payments, and tax information for vendors.· Works with individuals at all levels of the company, including management staff that must authorize payments.· Works with vendors if there is a question about an invoice.· Other duties as assigned by supervisorQUALIFICATIONS· Experience in accounts payable· Strong written and oral communication skills.· Self-starter with ability to act and make decisions.· Familiar with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.· Able to speak with vendors in a friendly and professional manner.· Accounts Receivable and payroll experience a plus.· Attention to detail and accuracy· Ability to travel to attend training and meetings as needed.· Projects a professional image in all aspects of work performance, which includes, but not limited to personal habits, demeanor and attire.· Good attendance is a must.Clean Control is a premier manufacturer of high quality cleaning products, odor eliminators, disinfectants, sanitizers, deodorizers, pet products, environmentally friendly products, outdoor hunting products, industrial & institutional products & much more.
