Accounting ManagerOur manufacturing client, located in Novi, MI, is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team on an interim basis. The ideal candidate has led and mentored an Accounting team and is extremely proficient using QuickBooks.The day-to-day responsibilities will include:Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledgerIdentify opportunities for process improvements within the financial accounting systemGuide financial decisions by applying company policies and procedures to the current economic landscape.Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines.Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance.Ensure compliance with applicable standards (i.e. GAAP), rules, regulations, and systems of internal control.
