The Accounting Manager is a full time 100% remote position responsible for managing multiple accounting functions and operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue, assets, cost, and tax accounting. The Accounting Manager implements accounting policies and procedures that adhere to governmental financial and tax regulations and comply with GAAP and IFRS standards. And oversees monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes and reporting.What you will do:Oversee the preparation of the monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP and Statutory financial statements and filings for both external and internal users. Business lead for all GAAP audits and statutory examinations, preparing schedules as requested and providing copies of supporting working papers as needed. Prepares monthly account reconciliation of all assigned balance sheet accounts and obtains the Controller's approval as required. Prepare and provide all requested information needed by the parent company to assist in the preparation of the consolidated tax return and consolidated financial statements. Oversee monthly account reconciliation of all assigned balance sheet accounts and obtain the Controller's approval as required. Performs monthly account reconciliation of high-risk areas. Develops and directs accounting professionals and support staff. Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
