Robert Half is currently seeking an adaptable and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk for a contract-to-hire opportunity with a leading firm in the area. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for an array of accounting operations, including reconciling bank statements, invoicing customers, processing accounts payable and receivable, and managing financial records. This role will initially require on-site work during the contract period. However, upon successful transition to permanent employment, a hybrid schedule will be available.Responsibilities:Prepare and process invoices and maintain financial records.Update and manage accounts payable and receivable.Reconcile bank statements to ensure accurate financial reporting.Engage in various financial tasks such as budget preparation, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements.Manage and respond to internal queries about finance and accounting matters.Comply with the company’s accounting procedures and protocols.Complete ad-hoc tasks as required.Requirements:Entry-level accounting knowledge up to 1-2 years of experience in the field.Proficiency in Excel is essential.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Excellent numerical skills along with the ability to analyze and compile financial data.Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles.Experience with NetSuite would be advantageous.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.Our dynamic, fast-paced work environment is an ideal fit for individuals who are committed to moving along their accounting career path.
