We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk for our office in Gowanda, New York. This role involves the handling and processing of financial transactions, data entry, invoice processing, and account reconciliation. You will work within a small office environment and report directly to the Assistant Controller. Responsibilities:• Handle and process financial transactions with precision• Utilize Microsoft Excel for spreadsheet creation and data input• Assist the Controller with monthly and quarterly reporting• Review, match, and process vendor invoices• Collaborate with internal vendors to reconcile payment discrepancies• Consolidate payments for review and generate checks for wire/ACH transactions• Execute accounts payable reporting• Assist with payable reconciliations for month-end close• File, retrieve, and copy files for accounts payable• Manage expense reporting for cost centers in sales teams for credit cards.
