This role requires you to match invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers, perform data entry tasks and facilitate the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). This full-time role is for an Accounting Clerk in the Bolingbrook, Illinois, area.What you get to do every single day- Use various methods to add financial information to journals and ledgers- Resolve discrepancies, and create correction documents if needed, by checking all possible sources of disagreement, recreating likely actions, and identifying the effect on other accounts- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned- Use knowledge of expenditure codes and accounting codes to accurately code documents- Help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, and other general accounting projects- Assist Accounts Receivable with processing daily invoices/credit, applying cash receipts, and collecting past due balances- Assist accounts payable with vendor invoices and disbursement filing and with A/P invoice matching & filing- Create statements and reports that require the use of a number of sources
