Roanoke City Public Schools is seeking a part-time EL (English Language) Assessment Specialist.

The EL Assessment Specialist will:

• Help to facilitate English language proficiency (ELP) assessments for EL students
• Conduct initial ELP screenings and WIDA ACCESS testing
• Serve all schools K-12 throughout the division
• Assist schools with preparation for ELP assessments
• Work with individual students or small groups to develop English proficiency in targeted areas

The position would work no more than a maximum of 29 hours per week.
