Roach & Associates PLLC is Hiring a Paralegal Near Spring, TX

Paralegal - We are a small boutique law firm located in the Woodlands representing municipal utility districts, homeowners associations, nonprofit water supply corporations, and other types of government and special purpose entities. As a Legal Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the seamless operation of our legal team. Candidate must be available to attend evening Board meetings, take notes, and transcribe notes into meeting minutes. The candidate will also perform a diverse range of administrative tasks, including drafting resolutions, easements, and various other agreements, maintaining master calendars, assisting with elections, legislative and bond work, researching governmental rules and regulations, etc.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years legal experience (Governmental or real estate experience preferred)
  • Must be able to attend evening Board meetings
  • Provide administrative support to the legal team
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and editing legal documents, contracts, and agreements
  • Conduct legal research
  • Maintain and organize legal files, documents and databases
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ethical and discreet, with the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Self-starter, with excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
  • Be friendly and work well in a social in-office and out-of office environment

Education Requirements:

  • Paralegal certificate or greater than 3 years legal experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
